Church History

One thing is to have a vision, another is to pursue it to its logical end. By God's grace, this vision was inherited by Pastor Isaiah Adesola Fajuyagbe from Prophet M.O. Olowere of blessed memory.During a meeting at Oke Imole Oluwatedo, Alase, the need to expand evangelism was raised. After deliberation, the leadership agreed to establish a new branch in either the Power Line area along the Ibadan-Oyo Expressway, or in Olorisaoko along the Iseyin-Moniya Road.God directed our Chairman, Pastor I.A. Fajuyagbe, to seal Olorisaoko. This decision was also influenced by his training and by the faith and sacrifice of three families who traveled all the way from Olorisaoko for worship: Deacon Eyinade Johnson Adedayo, Mr. Joel Taiwo Akintola, and Mr. Samson Oyelakin and their families.The Beginning To launch this mission, a 3-day powerful crusade was organized at Methodist Primary School, Olorisaoko, from the 3rd to 5th of November, 2010. The guest revivalist was Pastor Moses Akeem Aare. Though there was heavy rainfall in surrounding towns for the first two days, Olorisaoko was spared. On the third day, the rain fell like "ice blocks," but the people refused to leave, declaring it the "rain of divine blessings."Growth and EstablishmentNov 7, 2010: The first church service was held at Mr. J.T. Akintola's house with 11 people in attendance.Dec 31, 2010: Pastor Moses Akeem Aare was appointed as the pioneer pastor and led the first Crossover Service under a small canopy on 2 rented plots of land.By God's Grace: The church experienced rapid growth, just as seen in Acts 2:43. Two additional plots of land were procured, and our Cathedral was erected.God has been faithful. He continues to direct people who are hungry for the true gospel to this church, and He performs wonders and miracles in their lives.Today What started with 11 disciples, "without Judas," has been blessed in every ramification. In terms of spiritual and material growth, CAC Oke Imole Olorisaoko stands strong among her contemporaries. All glory to God!Milestones:About 6 members have been ordained as Evangelists and are serving in various departments.An 18-passenger bus was purchased to aid mobility to praying centers.A complete building was purchased and modernized for church missions.The 2 plots of land formerly rented have been purchased, and we have built our English Assembly there.2 branches have been established at Ogongo near Onikainkain, and Idioke near Seriki, both in Akinyele Local Government.The church is still pregnant with many good things that, by His grace, will soon be made public.
